The table is just as described and as pictured -- a dark cherry with a glossy, reflective surface that can be cleaned with regular products (like wet wipes). Assembly instructions are confusing in being so short (hint - for distinguishing the hardware pieces, count the number of each style/type and use a ruler to measure them). The feet are gold, but look more cute that chintzy. The height is wonderful, cutting just across the chest when sitting in a regular chair. The diameter (40 inches) is a very fair size table -- big for two, normal for four (unless you like to have a lot of extras on the table). The bas and legs are sturdy with nicely adjustable levelers at the bottom of each leg. The whole table looks like it could easily cost twice its actually price. Highly recommended.

This is a great dining table. It was easy to put together, came well packaged in the box for delivery. I've had it for half a year and I still love it. The table has a great height, very comfortable for eating. The gold toe are silly, but they included built in levelers which is helpful for the lousy floors in my apartment. The best part is the color, which is just as deep and rich finish as it appears on screen and the top which is a piano style reflective finish which makes it look much more expensive than it was. The size can also comfortably seat four unless your doing a large scale Thanksgiving style dinner.
